Obituary of Geraldine Erwin

Mrs. Geraldine Erwin, 80, formerly of Walnut Street, Canajoharie, New York died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Johnsville Rehab and Nursing Center. Born on October 14, 1934 in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Vernon I. Kunhs and Mildred C. Keller. She had been a resident of the Canajoharie area since the 1950s. Mrs. Erwin was a supervisor for Del Labs for 34 years, until her retirement on July 1, 1998. Geraldine was a member of St. John's & St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Canajoharie. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Erwin; grandson, Melvin Ray Hearn, Jr. Mrs. Erwin is survived by her sons, David Erwin of Canajoharie, NY, Robert Erwin (Carolyn) Cohocton, NY; daughter-in-law, Catherine Erwin of Broadalbin, NY; grandchildren, Robert Erwin (Karen) of Troy, NY, Angela Erwin of Hartley, DE; great-grandchildren, Paige, Dylan, Haley, Angel. A time of remembrance will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 10:00am-Noon at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
