Mrs. Melva Ann Page, 79, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Nathan Littauer Nursing Home in Gloversville, NY. Born on December 4, 1941 in Ottumwa, Iowa, she was the daughter of Homer and Antoinette Martz. She had 6 brothers and sisters, Harvey of Speculator, Katherine of Iowa, Rachel of Gloversville, Homer of Iowa, Zeke of Speculator, Dennis of Minnesota. She was married to Lewis N. Page, Sr. on October 26, 1958. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage. She had four sons, Lewis N. Page, Jr. (Ruth) of Gloversville, Lee W. Page (Nellie) of Speculator, Leonard D. Page (Melissa) of Johnstown, Lennie D. Page (Donna) of Speculator; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by Lynn J. Page and Melva A. Page. Melva was a dedicated home health aid for Hamilton County. She worked for 30 years and received a certificate in Albany from Governor Mario Cuomo. Later she worked for many homes in Speculator. Melva has asked her husband to say, "Hi" to all her friends. There will be no services, at her request. Her arrangements have been entrusted to Houghtaling and Smith Funeral Home, Inc. 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. Please feel free to sign the online guest book at www.houghtalingandsmith.com
