Mrs. Kathleen Snyder, 98, of State Route 163, Town of Canajoharie, NY passed away at home on November 3, 2022. She was born on October 24, 1924, in Barton Wisconsin, the daughter of Edwin and Helen Reiland Knoeck, both who have predeceased her. 

She attended school in Fort Plain and enjoyed taking part in many of the school plays. Her working career included working at Beech-Nut making K rations, and baby food, being a sewing machine operator at the Luxury in Fort Plain, and the P and K dress factory in Canajoharie. 

Mrs. Snyder had lived her entire life in the local area, and was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope in Fort Plain, NY. 

She had enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, reading, jig saw puzzles, bird watching, doing seek and finds on the computer, watching Perry Mason and Emergency on the television, being a polling inspector for the Democratic Party, and would reminisce about dancing in her red high heels when she was younger. 

In 1946 in the Town of Minden she married her husband, Harold Snyder. He passed away in 1995. She was also predeceased by her four siblings. 

Survivors include her son David (Linda) Snyder; daughter Laraine (Ed) Cook; Grandchildren Faith Anne (and her husband C. J.), Burton (and his wife Janice), Kaeriis, and Tasha; Great-Grandchildren Elizabeth, Daniel, Elle, Juliana, Jameson. Aidan, Nathan, Jiordan, Caden, Rachel, and Ian; and a special niece Charlotte Schwartz.

A private graveside service will be held with he family at Fort Plain Cemetery.
