Obituary of Richard Consalvo

Mr. Richard Consalvo, 60, of Blaine Road, Canajoharie, NY, passed away at his home on October 28, 2024, following a long illness.

Rich was born on July 15, 1964, in Manhattan, NYC, NY,  the son of the late Robert Consalvo and Jeannie Corroppoli, who survives him.

Many people will remember Rich from when he worked as a salesman at the former Fucillo Auto in Nelliston, NY until he had to stop due to his battle with MSA.

For the past 26 years, he has lived in the local area; prior to that, he had lived in Oklahoma City, OK, and Sacramento, California.

Rich was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed fishing, playing Texas Hold 'em, and using his metal detector to find treasurers.

On March 23, 1999, in Sharon Springs, NY, he married his wife, Kimberly.

He was predeceased in death by his father, Robert Consalvo, and his brothers, Frankie Consalvo and Salvatore Consalvo.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Consalvo; children Emma and her husband Brandon Shelmandine, Murphy Brown, Richard Consalvo, II, Bambi Consalvo, Dalton Consalvo, Piper Consalvo, and Megan Baker; grandchildren Matthew, Skylar, Octavia, Paris, Spencer, Asher, Rhea, Hope, Michael, Azalea, and Lily; his mother, Jeannie Corroppoli; siblings Robert Consalvo, Carmine Consalvo, Michael Consalvo, and Caroline Consalvo; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 11:00 to 1:00 on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00, with Pastor Jim Peck officiating.
